i'm not normally a photographer... but i saw this while driving a few days ago... of course it was more spectacular in person... but the way that the clouds were positioned... it looked like smoke coming off the sun... though it looks more like a meteor that's going to kill us on in the photo

Yeah, my sunset photos were actually all taken while driving. So yeah, it's a pain in the ass and definitely not safe to do. But they yield some breathtaking results though.
